She is an enthusiastic teacher, preacher, worship leader, conference and seminar speaker and host. She is driven by her commitment to God and her compassion for people. Her message is one of life, healing, hope and divine purpose.

Raised in a Pentecostal home, she accepted the Lord Jesus as a teenager and accepted the call to preach at the age of 21. Under the auspices of the Late Bishop J. P. Morgan Sr., she was licensed as an Evangelist Missionary in the Church of God in Christ and served in various capacities within the national church.
In October of 1998, Minister Thomas co-founded the former Asah Family and Life Enrichment Center and served as an Associate Pastor for eight years. She was instrumental in organizing the Maximum Impact Family Tent Crusade, and various outreach programs within Boston and the surrounding cities. She has traveled throughout the United States, South America and the West Indies, conducting conferences, revivals, retreats, seminars and missionary fieldwork.

Driven by her passion for youth; she serves as an advocate for children with special needs and learning disabilities and mentors young ladies into their transition to adulthood. As a mentor, counselor and spiritual leader, Min. Thomas challenges her audience to become a catalyst for the change they desire to see in their present environment. She is the founder of Daughters of Deborah, a para-ministry that services the various needs of women in developing themselves spiritually, maintaining emotional and mental stability and fulfilling their aspirations and goals.

Her educational accomplishments include an Associate’s Degree in Humanities from Roxbury Community College and a Joint Bachelors in Socio-Psychology from the University of Massachusetts-Boston in 2006. She is currently an Ockenga Fellow at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. The mother of Rachel and Steven Thomas and proud grandmother of Kristina-Joy, Min. Gillian serves on the ministerial staff of Morning Star Baptist Church in Boston, under the leadership of Bishop John M. Border III. She teaches at MSBC Institute for Christian Living and currently serves as the Department Head of Missions.

Now, as founder of the Seek inc. Min. Gillian hopes to encourage and inspire life-lasting change, by supporting and joining in the work of those who preach and teach the Word of God, according to the Holy Bible. Leading corporate worship on Facebook and YouTube live, as well as moderating smaller groups, facilitating active deliverance, Min. Gillian aims to spread the gospel as referenced in Matthew 16, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved..."
